http://www.advancedclinical.com
Advanced Clinical is a company that needed a new website built in Drupal. This project required custom scripts to be written to handle daily C.R.U.D functions of both job and resume data stored in an external database. The site services a nice clientele for both job recruiters and professionals in the biomedical area. As an outside consultant, I handled any and all Drupal projects required by this site.

The Video Portal was designed to hold all of Science Magazine's video content and present it to a user in a easy to use interface. The site works using a PHP back-end that connects to the Brightcove media API. The site is also functions on mobile devices. As the developer on this project I was assigned to take the design given to me and build the site from that, including the PHP classes, Jquery, and API interfaces.
www.youroutdoorsonline.com
YourOutdoorsOnline.com is an outdoor themed website that was built using Drupal CMS. The site uses customized modules to allow unregistered users to post on other users’ blogs, but not on forum topics. The site utilizes the modules: Activity, Trigger, Taxonomy, ImageCache, Node Gallery, Mollom, Webform, Advanced Forum, Panels, Views, and User Relationships to help build the site's functionality, which includes social networking. The site's theme uses five templates to create the visual presentation. The site also uses Javascript to change the background to reflect the time the user is viewing the site.
www.stepfamilyrochester.org/
This website was my RIT senior capstone project. I served on a team with seven other individuals to create this website for the non-profit group, the Stepfamily Association of Rochester. The site uses Wordpress as its base CMS, due to its ease of use for the user. The site also features a video introduction, which was shot with the use of a green screen.
www.wordsfromandy.com

Words From Andy is my personal blog. It runs on the Drupal CMS (I previously used WordPress). The site uses Drupal modules CCK, BBCode, Views, and Mollum integration. What the site uses is based on a theme I've been developing and plan to release for public use on the Drupal website. The theme was built on top of the Blueprint base theme.

While working at Sarphatie Education Inc., my boss had asked me to take a look at the company website and come up with some proposals for a redesign. This was my favorite proposal. It features a flash navigation, as well as maintaining a pre-existing cooperate identity.

This site is entirely created dynamically with JavaScript. The site asks questions about what type of pirate ship the user would like, and then creates forms based on the input given by the user. It then stores what ships were “purchased” by the user with cookies.
Hi, I'm Andrew Whitesell and I design things. I first discovered my passion for design and multimedia when I started coming up with ideas for Super Nintendo games back in the early ‘90s. Being interested in both computers and art, I created my first website in 1997. Six years later, I enrolled in the New Media program at RIT where my knowledge and skill base grew.
